CK2620 - Did your tractor come with an in-tank fuel strainer? Mine didn't.

nope. i have a filter on my fuel storage tank and pump.

You do realize that no vehicle ( car, truck, etc) uses a screen? I had one in my 55 gal fuel storage tank and i removed it because is slowed down refueling the diesel by at least 50% … probably more. When the level gets to the bottom of the screen, it always backed up and overflowed or shut off the pump. It sucked.

I second that. I bought a water separator funnel, it keeps water out as well as dirt, but what a very slow process, while hoisting a 5 gallon container.
Better than having water in tank, but now it collects dust.

Yup, i had one of those long ago. No idea where i tossed it. I use this now. Filters everything

2018 Boomer 40 made by LS has a drop in screen in filler neck. Works great for me. Montana 5740 had one also. Both remove for cleaning if needed.

Kubota sells a one size fits all strainer for about 10 bucks. Have them in both my tractors plus a Racor Fuel polishing filter.
