as I recall, just a cutting wheel and a razor knife to cut and trim the corners...

Gerard and mathey, please fill us in on how you did the electrical connections. Love the switches you did mathey, they really "belong," but where are your lights? Did you mount them in the same way that Gerard did? I have eyed that location many times and have planned to do the same thing, but haven't gotten around to it. Thanks for the posts. John

My lights (2 forward, 1 rear) are mounted using u-bolt around the ROPS, attached to a piece of square aluminum tube, just slightly below and slightly behind the ROPS. I'm not really happy with this setup, as it tends to light up the "cockpit" way too much...i'd prefer if they were higher, and more forward, but I can't see any options in this...they really need to be protected from branches and such...

the wiring (not finished in the photos) is tucked into a plastic sleeve and cable tied to the ROPs. I have them hardwired to the battery (fused)...there's a work light hookup hanging near the fuel tank, but i chose not to use that...

Nice installations. I setup (2) 55w driving lights on my L3410 using some angle brackets that I believe came with SMV emblems or gate hardware. I keep a lot of misc parts around and once in a blue moon I find a use for them!
Anyway, I ran 6 gauge wire from the battery (in front of radiator) to a fuse panel in the rear for all 12v stuff. There is a light circuit, hydraulic filter pump, and 12v rear connector for spraying and running an inverter (lighted hay wagon for Halloween). Check out the pictures...

I utilized the stock (+/-) wires behind the SMV/fuel tank for my wiring. The way I installed the work lights and the beakon light, I can within 5 minutes, return the tractor to stock condition. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

OOO AHHH. Thanks for the pics. That should be a pretty easy setup. Maybe I'll get to it this week. Which paint did you use? Looks like a great match from the pic. John
