ck20 backhoe controls??

Just wondering how the backhoe control levers are set up. I am used to useing the john deere controls just did not know if they were the same. Also I see that they have a curved boom backhoe for the ck20, just wanted to know if anyone knew the benefit verses the straight. One more thing, is there a difference between the 2007 and the 2008 backhoes?? Thanks for the help

The backhoe controls are "CAT" controls so they are different from "Deere" controls. I am sure the dealers on here can tell you if there are any changes for 2008 model BH's. I heard the curved booms are stronger, lighter and easier to see your bucket but I don't have any experience with one. Mine is straight and has amazing power for it's size.

OK, that is what I feared. I wonder if I could just switch the hoses on the valves so they would match the Deere controls, i don't know if this is possible does anybody??

Correct me if I'm wrong........
It depends on if you are talking about a JD commercial Hoe or a JD TLB.
I have used a JD TLB and the Controls are the same as the Kioti.
Unless someone had changed them.

I could be wrong but I think there are backhoe controls and excavator controls which are different, but some small excavators have backhoe controls. Confused, I am.

I was referring to a 410G which is a commercial backhoe, and it does have a switch in it for back hoe controls or the excavator controls. I will go to the dealer and try one out first hand and see what the controls are.
One more question, how do I know if a loader for a 2008 ck20s is an actual 2008. I know there were issues with the 06 or the 07 cracking just not sure which year. Thanks for the help.

I rented a Yanmar Vio27 and it had a lever that would switch between SAE and ISO controls (cat and deere) but the Kioti has nothing like that, I doubt any compact tractor does.

As far as the loader, the updated loader is the KL120B as opposed to the KL120. The updated loader also has a tube that cleary goes through both arms whereas the old design is a fulley enclosed box with an access panel on the bottom.

Look at the serial number plate on the loader. The new version (non cracking) is the KL120B, the older version is the plain KL120. Also, there is an obvious physical difference you can see by looking at the torque tube from the side. The new version has a pipe that extends all the way through the torque tube while the older version does not.
