Christmas seat time.

I live south of Buffalo NY. So far, I have been spared the blizzard. Had the power go out on Friday for a bit, but not much snow. It did get down to -3 with 50mph winds, and that froze some pipes in the crawl space. For now, the driveway is done. Time for some Christmas pizza and beer.

Merry Christmas dj. We got less than an inch of snow. But it's been bitterly cold with high winds. Today it's finally calmed down and expect a high of 20F.

Headed to my Son's houses pretty soon. They live on acreages next to each other. Both have heated shops to hang out in. Two of my Grandsons, who have traveling jobs away from here are home so it'll be a great afternoon. Not sure about the pizza, but I'm sure there will be Beer involved.

It got down to a a few degrees below zero on Friday which is unusually cold for TN. It only snowed about an inch though. No seat time here.

Broke in the new tractor on some drifts. Worked great, had a 400lb ballast box hanging off the back. Did a great job. The cab tractor has a flat and I didn't feel like messing with it today so pulled out the small tractor.

Saw our new to us Beagle standing with her front paw on top of 5 foot fence so Spent approx an hour blowing drifts away from fence. Only seat time for snow this year

Christmas 2022. I got a couple of hours seat time doing weed abatement. Recent rains got the mustard weed off to an early start.
The landplane excells at weed cutting on flat ground free of rock and debris.
Today, the day after Xmas, I got a couple hours in fixing drainage ditches on both sides of the road.
It's all good fun

It was too cold for the tractor last week. -38C (-36F), so i waited a few days for it to warm up a bit.

i had about 5 hrs of seat time on Christmas Eve Day, moved about 9 inches of heavy snow off the driveway, in -20 C (-4F) no cab, glad i got that done. Running out of space. Freezing Rain today.

Way too cold for me to get the 'Cat out on Christmas. It has summer fuel treated with white bottle PS and I don't trust that at these temps. I do have a jug of #1 I could toss in but I'll wait for Thur warm weather to put 70/30 blended fuel in. The other neighbor has a skid in his yard that is dead from gelling. My fuel filters are $100+ so I am careful of gelling.

Now that gives new meaning to cattle dog

Isn't that the coolest picture!!!! I've been around dogs my whole life and had never saw that. I was running the grader past that property. "Luna" always comes out and follows the grader down the road a quarter mile or so. I made the first pass and didn't see her. Came back by and still don't see her. Was worried something had happened to her. Then I see her laying on that bull. It was cold that day. I stopped and took a couple pics of her. Then that afternoon I stopped by the Post Office where her owner works as the Post Master. Gave her the pics. We had a great laugh talking about it.

over here it started snowing (light snow) on Thursday the 22 it got very heavy on the 24th and windy we got 5 feet snow drift and got at least two feet of snow roads where close for two days as well. let’s say i got some seat time.
