check timming kioti lb 2202

trying to find out if anyone knows how to check injection timming the only thing my book says it should be 25 degrees before top deed center,the only thing i see is f1,f2,f3 on fly wheel but i do'nt know how to go about checking it i know i have 5 shims under pump but know nothing about timming.

Do you happen to have a workshop manual for this tractor? It will help out alot.

To check timing (from LB2204 Workshop Manual)

1 ) Start and run engine at idle

2 ) Attach a timing light to the injection pipe

3 ) Check to see if the timing check window of the clutch housing is aligned with the F1 mark on the flywheel

4 ) If the timing of the fuel injection is off, adjust with shims. Each shim changes crank angle by approximately 1.5 degrees.

No timming light,where can i find one?

Do a search on the internet for "diesel timing light" you should come up with some hits. Or check your local auto parts store. Just a warning they are pretty pricey.... Just be sure to get one for the right size fuel line.

its ok every thing is fine now its working like it should the govnor linkage was set up wrong that why i had raw fuel,going to sell and by L-2800 kubota when i sell my kioti whats a good asking price in good condition 685 hours. thanks for your concerns
