Looks like one could do some serious log skidding with this as well as family trips deep into the back country.

I currently have an ARGO 8x8, but the amphibious capability is one I use the least. It does do well with wide snow tracks however, something the COOT2 does not look like it would handle well.

That extreme articulation (or oscillation) and high ground clearence would be a lot better in the very steep rough rocky terrain I have around here. I also like the four-wheel steer - somewhat like the articulated Power Trac 1845 I have for fire mitigation logging.
