Autumn begins on the 22nd,but one can start to notice a tint in the leaves and the sallows are just about gone south,heck as I write this the outside temp 65 degress..good old new england..just wait and the weather will change. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

65 degrees? I have fond (though somewhat vague) memories of days like that./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif We're setting new all time records for temperatures in September; 109 yesterday and I don't know what the official reading will be today, but my thermometer has already gone to 110 in the shade./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

I don't believe I could take those high temps as thick as my blood is,so how do you folks do it for so long.

There may be help on the way. We dropped from 108 degrees yesterday to 106 today!/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif They are talking about 102 tomorrow! They are talking about upper 90's around here by the end of the week. Still no rain, however. I live about 200 miles north of Dallas. One thing I have noticed is our lows are in the lower 70s for the most part and we only spend a couple hours a day at the really hot tempatures where Dallas seems to stay warmer at night and heat up faster in the morning and cool down slower in the evening where they have several hours a day at really hot tempatures.
