I put this one on my ferris a couple years ago and it works. Limits you to entering/exiting one side only but I couldn’t figure out a way to mount one on the rear of the ROPS. I've been eyeing these for my SCAG. Haven't picked one up though.

You can make a saw scabbard by sandwiching up some pieces of 1/2" plywood.

Or if you have a good eye and steady hand bore out a piece of 2X6 with your saw.

I put the gas and oil down here.

If you spend a lot of time in the woods then hanging equipment on the outside so it protrudes is asking to get it Knocked off. So be mindful.
