I posted a while back looking for scabbard ideas. I had some of this 1/2 plastic in the shop so built a scabbard out of that. Figured that it wouldn't be damaged by or damage the saw chain. It cuts easily on the table saw, drills and counter sinks well. Then the question was where to mount it. Clamped it in several locations before deciding on the right side of the ROPS. Drilled and tapped 3 3/8x16 holes and used flat head socket head screws so as not to hit the blade. Now the saw is with me when I brush cut and out of the way until needed.
