I worked for hunter fans for about 5 years. Let me know if you need any help.
My fans have had the same remotes for about 7 years now. now troubles at all.
wiring them up is super easy. plus you can adjust the pull chains once the fan is up.
We just bought a new house and have 7 fans to toss up inside and 3 new ones outside and they will all be hunter's or casablanca...
you might need to call hunter about the fan with the clicking. sounds like a winding in the motor came loose, which is very unusual. is the fan wobbling at all? could be the pull chain hitting the glass.
