JJ, what did you think of the kit? I am still considering one but I would have to have it welded by someone else. Any idea how many hours it took to weld it up?

A good welder could weld this kit in about 1 hour or less.
You then have to weld the whole assembly to the dipper arm.
The thumb can be extended or folded in 30 sec. They have different sizes of thumbs also. The thumb needs to match your bucket.
I like the kit just fine, I may try and cut out a larger thumb myself. Those plasma cutters are great.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I thought that there might be more experience within the last 6 years with CDP thumb kits. Anyone purchased and assembled one, what did it cost? Sorry in advance to the guys that get their panties in a bunch over old threads.
