A mechannic friend of mine gave me a tube of

ermatex Thread Sealant". High temp thread sealant, good to 400 deg-F and 'extreme pressures'. Has anyone head of or used this on hydraulic fittings?

Does it have Teflon in it?
According to THIS CHART, only the one with Teflon is rated for use in hydraulics. Check the product or part # on the container...
