Caterpillar 416B Fault Alarms

I have a Caterpillar 416B 1995 weather 80-95 degrees F after approx. 45 minutes of use I hear a low beeping fault alarm, approx. 15 minutes on use the fault alarm gets very loud. The alarm sounds only when the backhoe is in forward or reverse , no alarm in neutral. Can someone point me to a potential cause?

I think it's the transmission because it only goes off when in gear

There are no warning lights on when the alarm sounds, the alarm sound comes from the console where the tractor's gauges are installed.

That was what my guess was based on, it just seems strange to me that it does. An overheated oil alarm would seem critical enough to me that it would only turn off with the key (shutdown).
