Catastrophic failure

Picked up the parts today, hopefully get to fixing it on Saturday. I think the biggest PITA is going to be filling the SUDT, the backhoe is on it and it looks like it's in the way of the fill hole.

Just get a bucket pump for the SUDT.

Hopefully your knee pads were on securely tightened! Hopefully not to costly but it sounds pretty ugly.

Got it back together a hour or so ago.. more work than I anticipated. The bolts that hold the filter housing on are almost impossible to get to. And the 1/4" steel bracket that it mounts to was actually twisted which would have made a high chance of cracking the housing if I tried to bolt up to it. Had to remove the floor board, remove the bracket, heat and hammer/ twist it back into submission.. fuss with the rediculously inaccessible bolts and then wrestle the supply tubes back into there ports. I'm for certain going to be careful to not do this again. I poured 6 gallons of SUDT into the tractor and it seems like it's still thirsty. I'm going to get a better look tomorrow when the sun comes up. .. lesson learned.

Today was just one of those days "1 step ahead 2 back". Everything I touched today turned into a bigger project than it was supposed to be.
