Our boy Arnold (see avatar) had thumbs, but also had claws in what would be the web between thumb & index finger. Had to have those removed when one started growing back around into the paw. Lost him a while back to a liver problem when he was about 11.

Wife and I were getting ready to leave, so we were looking for the two kittens to put them in their kennel while we're out. Can't find the little male demon. Start calling him and nothing. Little female is running around house having a grand old time. So we lock her up and listen quietly.... and we here scratching noises coming from inside sleeper sofa. Stupid cat climbed up inside the back, on top of the mattress, then went DOWN INTO THE ARM and could not back out!
We had to open tip the couch on it's back to gain access to the bottom of the arm and there we see his little teeth and claws trying to bite through the mesh on the bottom. This little guy cannot meow yet. He opens his mouth, but nothing comes out. So if we hadn't heard him scratching in there, he'd a been a goner for sure!

Out for a walk this morning and couldn't help but laugh...
The picture is kind of mis timed as it's our one neighbors cat, and when I walked up to get what I thought was a funny pic, she got up and started to walk to me (when she stood up, EVERY bird flew away).
Cat was laying down low to the ground on all fours in about the same spot just looking about at about 20 birds all over the place hanging on the bird feeders that were just put up.

Here's our two new kittens. Female on the left was born in June. Male on the right born in August. This is a RARE event in out house.... them not running around like nuts!

I made all my bird feeders higher as the 2 cats were picking the birds off the feeders. Now the feeders are 13 feet off the ground. I make my cats work now!
Our downstairs cats. Mother and daughter can from shelter couple years ago.
They picked that corner to be near me in evening. That dog is blind and tends to sleep on sofa during the day.
We have another pair of cats inherited from FIL upstairs.
