I wish I could find a good 580C myself.

I worked for a Case dealer during the 580B/C/D era so if you have questions, I'll be glad to share what I know.

Trader mark, I have a 580D with a shuttle shift. My question is how many gears do the manual trany on the floor have? My shift knob is faded I can not distinguished either forward is fwd or pulling the shift liver back is it fwd. or reverse? All I have been using is the shuttle so far however, I might have to push some heavy load dirt someday would like to know where to place the floor mounted shifter. Thanks a bunch. Sorry have to jump in on the blog.

Sorry, but I just saw your question here.
The manual transmission shifter in the floor shifts a 4 speed transmission. A simple H pattern.

Thanks, "H" pattern all forward it is up to the shuttle shift to change direction. Thanks again.
