Case 480D FEL float

Does anyone know if the Case 480D has a float function on the FEL? If so how do you operate it?

Also how do you operate the differential? I seem to mostly spin the tires.

Generally to get to float on a loader, you just push the handle forward. It will go over a little high center spot and then stay all the way forward. And you're floating. The float only operates on the loader up and down function, and does not affect the bucket controls.

The differential lock should be a small pedal that you depress with your left heel. When you release the pedal it will unlock itself.

Bear in mind that I know absolutely nothing about this particular tractor, but this is how it usually works.

Thanks for the quick response! I did check it out and got the float figured out though I have not had a chance to play with it yet.

As for the differential lock there is a small pedal under the brakes. I had tried that before but I do not think it worked, I'll try again this weekend.
