MF65 Front end loader, Case 310g (Borrowed)
Hey all.

I am borrowing a Case 310g off a good mate that has some issues. He's told me that it was getting weaker and weaker on the drive side till it struggled to move. Motor runs and sounds strong. Hydraulics are all fine. Thinking clutch is gone?

I know bugger all about these types of machines so few questions i had.
My mate said when it was good, you could put it in gear and let the clutch out. It wouldn't move until you gave it a rev. Seems like a torque converter in there somewhere but in the parts book I have, all I can find is a normal manual style clutch.

Also I see the CLUTCH gauge on the dash. It seems to move as I rev it but not exactly sure what this is indicating.

Last one for now haha, whats the usual method to STOP the engine on these? As per normal tractors I have worked with you have the button to pull which kills motor but this has nothing I can see, nothing in the Injector pump. Only way I have found is to stall it at idle with hydraulics.

my case 310g has a clutch. it either goes or kills it. no slipping.

to shut mine off, i reach over/behind injection pump and rotate the stop lever forward. used to have a pull cable on it but it broke off.
