Thank you richh, I used your idea to carry my chain saw.

Still needed a way to carry my pole saw, which I use more than chain saw, unless logging.

Now can carry both at same time.
Following attachments show the outcome.

Look at 6th attachment (ready to go to work) first to see finished product, then look at first 5 attachements to see details if interested.

What kind of saw is that? It looks like you have to keep the FEL down so that it doesn't hit the front of the saw -- is that right?

Nice job, Neal. I have been looking for a good way to carry mine. Tried in the bucket, across the hood, in my lap, etc. None very good. I may have to fab up some brackets and take your approach.

The saw is a Stihl HT 70, see attached.

The saw needs to be mounted 2" forward from where I have it to be able to raise loader to top heighth without the saw hitting the cab. If no cab, no problem I think.

So I don't have to worry about hitting anything except tree limbs with the front, if I am pulling up brush with the tree getter. I do normally set it off after arriving to job site, while working the brush with the loader.
