carb trouble???

Yes... I rebuilt .... same troubles....
don't know where to go from here ?
Been cleaned orffice by orfifce....... I am just dumb founded at this point...
Some one on this site mentioned solenoid.... that was NUMBER ONE
suspect for me from the beginning.

2 months and count less hrs. of fiddling... problem solved... ( I think : )
Cut pin on solenoid and she runs fine....however do think I will spend the $
for a new solenoid...much as I hate to.
If you don't idle down for a few minutes, and shut right down after hr.s of mowing.... engine will run on, and does not make good sounds when it does this.
Raw fuel can not be good for oil either.

Glad you got it running! I just saw this thread today and as I was reading it I was thinking you should check the solendoid. I'm no mechanic, I just had a similar thing happen to me and it was a bad solenoid. I got lucky and found a brand new carb with solenoid online at Tulsa Engine Warehouse on clearance for $43.

I think you know by now... but will answer ... the fuel cut off solenoid.
I have ordered a new one even though I running without one now...
I don't like start ups or shut downs..... messy affair for both....
so new one goes in soon.
