Car muffler

Can I put a car muffler on my kubota b8200 and expect better results than my stock muffler? My tractor makes a lot of noise and it'd be nice to quiet it down some.

I see people do it and have never heard of it causing a problem. It might be wise to add support rather than risking extra weight breaking lower exhust.

In many cases, exhaust noise is only a small part of the tractors noise signature. The mechanical knocking of a diesel engine is a huge part of what makes it so noisey.

I put a muffler that fits 97 Honda Civic and it really quieted the vertical exhaust that I put on my BX. Not a problem and it's been on for at least 5yrs. I do have a support brace.

Do you by chance remember the exhaust pipe size? Either the inside or outside diameter?

I'd love to replace the horizontal exhaust on my MF Utility, make it nice and quiet. That looks good!

The honda muffler inlet and outlet is 1 1/2" inside.
