Cant get fluid into tires? Help!

So, I have 55 gallon drum of Winter Washer Fluid, the Tractor Supply hose / valve fitting and 10' of clear hose. I even have a hand cranked drum pump. I jacked up the tractor (started with front tires to make sure I knew what I was doing). Let the air out of the tire, removed the stem core and jacked up the tire, turned it so the stem was at 2 o'clock. Drum is up in the bed of pickup truck. I get leaks and drips at the TSC attachement, but no sign the fluid going into the tire at all -when I try and pump it in, it builds pressure and either squirts all over or shows no sign of movement in the hose. What in the world am I doing wrong? Thanks! Bill

I wonder if using a deflator before you try to push fluid to it would help?

I put 94 gallons into the rears on a Massey 235 I owned. Used the same tools as you, except I purchased a cheap electric fountain pump. About every 4-5 gallons, I'd unplug the pump, and excess air pressure that built up would backflow into the pail I was using. After the bubbles subsided, I simply plugged it back in. It still takes a while, as the pump is fighting the whole time.

Thanks, I bought a transfer pump, now I need to buy the time to get it done!

I used a drill powered pump around $10.00. also the fitting I sede that connected the hose from the pump to the tire has a push button on the side to relieve pressure. pump for a few seconds and then relieve pressure, repete. A tiny tire is going to build up pressure way quicker than a large rear tire.
Start with the rear first.
