I'm a big fan of e-track. I've got two sticks down each wall and several sticks on the floor. It's crazy expensive at home centers and they only carry them in short lengths but a trucking supply will have them in 10' lengths at very reasonable prices.

Messy, but you get the idea:

Ditto above. Great system, but shop around.

Did get real work done on the tie downs yesterday. Dearest helped me bolt the ends and joints down, since you need one person under the trailer, then another on the inside.. Used 1/4 SS bolts and had to drill out the e-track to get them through the holes they made and bolted them to floor joists.. With some folding tables and a futon in the trailer, its not the easiest to move by myself! The futon and one table is for camp and we plan to run this trailer down there on Friday. To reiterate, its winter storage at the parking lot. I'll try get you guys some photos today.

I wouldn't use SS bolts. They're weak. Use grade 8 bolts. A friend of mine bolted his e-track down with grade 5 and quite a few of them broke.

I've found that Stainless Steel bolts strip out really easy. When they come with something that I'm installing, I throw them away.

Stainless bolts are OK for some uses like in the food service industry but they shouldn't be used where strength is important. Holding down a UTV is not a place for stainless hardware.

Weekend forecast is looking quite good! Still waiting on self tapping screws but the load strips are 2/3rds in.

Just got home camp fans and got lots done there, despite it being a rather short stay. This is how we like to see dogs after a busy, busy weekend. The top one isn't ours. Dearest did get Friday off so we'll get 4 days for the TG holiday. šŸ˜ More pics to come.

I'm still processing photos but here is a latch I replaced on the generator shed. They had used a pieced of wood to turn and keep it shut. I added a handle, latch and flap of roofing rubber to keep it from freezing which it was, the last time out there. This is the only building we lock out there!
