Hi ya
my G G Grandfather came from canada early 1900's ,i have not looked into it much my great aunt looked into it but died a year or two ago ....he was C .Le Gassick Rowe ,G great Grandfather was C Le Gassick Fittock and grandfather was C.A.R Fittock yep like you i don't know why Rowe was droped and Fittock added maybe a fallout with his old's i don't realy know but i'll find out as i want to change my name back to what it should be not the name i have now..As for where from i have no idea and i don't know weather (?) Le Gassick is a famley name or someone's madin name

Hi Neil

Sorry I haven't replied but I've been working away for a couple of weeks. Unfortunatly I have to admit I was born in England of a Canadian father and a British mother, and have spent a great deal of my life working in various countries around the world(including 3 years in the states). Of course my wife and my children are Australian and as I've been here for 13 years it looks like I'm here to stay.
