With poly or butyl caulk I defy U to pry the glass off.
Shucks auto windshields are 'poly' glued and never come lose, even after a major crash.
You just can't imagine what I have 'glued' with poly caulk!

My 'go to' is poly caulk, duck tape and WD40.. OK add baling wire and vice grips.
