BX2750 lubrication

I have a front mount BX 2750 snowblower and am trying to find an easier way to lubricate the chain. There is a cover plate over the chain. I was looking at an easier way to oil chain rather than removing the plate each time. (am I just that lazy or missing something) I am also looking for recomendations on the type of lubrication people are using. I presently use a chainsaw bar oil but was wondering if a chain grease like motorcycles use would work better?

I have used both. Still messy. The motorcycle chain grease I used comes out as a foam, not really wanting to spread. Once the foam breaks it seems like it wants to stay better on the chain than chainsaw bar oil. There is a plastic tube that comes with the motorcycle can stuff but when you spray through the guard hole it doesn't really go where you want it. I still pull the cover and spray with either and then rotate chain while in neutral drive. I only spray in beginning of season, mid season and end of season. Seems to be fine!

Use Fluid Film and the little red straw that comves with the can. You can bend it to go through the hole in the top.

I use bar oil in an oil can with a trigger and spout. I turn the pto on & let the oil drop through the top hole until the chain quiets down.

Thanks guy both ideas are going to work. got some fluid film and am figuring out a little spout to let it drip.

What I found to work for me is spraying through the two side holes on both sides and the hole on top. I am sure this does not get every link on the chain, so I try to lube the chain before each use.
