I am considering the CX2510 with a front mount snowblower. The dealer spec'd the SB54 snowblower. I have not been able to find videos of the install process for this combination. The videos that I did find for Kioti front mount snowblowers showed a large sub frame that gets attached to the tractor. It seemed a quite a bit more involved than the process for my JD 47" blower install. And the Kubota seems easier also. Perhaps I have not found the correct video yet though.

What are your impressions of front mount snowblowers on the CX series?
Installation?
Does the chain being exposed on the front of the blower and being covered with snow have issues?
Performance?

I think the tractor may be a good fit for my needs.

Hopefully someone has a more relevant response...
So I have a CK3510 with a 66" blower. From the photos I have seen they are pretty similar, with yours just scaled down a tad.

Impressions - looks similar to my 66", which is a real monster.

Installation - You aren't moving this blower around without the tractor or dollies. I would suggest some large frame dollies to move it in the offseason (if you keep it inside). Install the subframe first, using a small jack to raise it. You might have to pivot it a little to line up the holes. You also might need to remove the grill guard for clearance up front. Hook up the hydraulics and drive up to or roll the blower unit up to it and use the hydraulics to pick it up. (you only need to align the upper pins, it will fall in place.) Install the lower pins, then the shaft, and you are done. You may want to zip tie the hoses out of the way. (and you def want to color code them for future installations.) I do all of my greasing before I mount it up for the winter. It takes me longer to get the dang loader off the tractor then to install the blower. Then I think it was like 20 mins to grease the fittings and mount the unit. And I'm super **** about not getting grease all over the place so I took my time.

Chain - No issues with the chain yet. I always clean mine off when I am done and that includes the area around the chain.

Performance - It eats well. I've only bogged mine a time or two and I was blowing several weeks old snow that was over 2ft deep to clear a spot in the lawn.
I seem to average one shear pin per year, so you might want some extras. Interestingly enough it only happens at my neighbor's place....

Hope that is of some use to you.

Thanks, that is very useful. That would probably be a deal breaker for me. My 47" JD snowblower is much easier to put on. The only thing that I need to do under the tractor is connect the driveshaft. Kubota's seem similar to the Deere. I am looking at ssqa front snowblower . Seems like that would be a great way to go .... if it works well. I could switch from snowblower to bucket in a few minutes, with no need for any subframe, driveshaft etc. Plus, the blower could be used on any tractor with ssqa which includes the Kioti.
