I am saying it controls the BH speed and I may be wrong but I think it does. I think it also affects the FEL speed.

Sorry john, but it don't believe this is the case at all. The knob only controls the bleed down of the 3 ph linkage from my experiences. Engine speed will slow the response down pretty effectively, though.

Knob in my experience only did mower deck/rear 3 pt speed. Didn't want to start flame war. Engine speed will do trick, on slow idle older bx fel will not come off ground empty.

According to some actual owners of BX25s, which I no longer am, say it isn't true concerning the knob. Sorry I gave a wrong answer so just adjust with engine speed. There are always tactful ways to correct someone for a wrong answer and I appreciate that as I'm sure most of the rest of you do. Maybe I'll do better the next time.

Here's the pic - got some more hours in over the weekend - put 6 tons of road mix up on the second level of the retaining walls, compacted, and topped off with stone dust - about ready for the pavers!

Any tricks to the bucket "float"? seemed to work a couple times, but other times it seemed to dig into the material below the pile, thought I had it in the second position. Thanks.

Looks great! What a beast. Love those little BX TLBs.

I find I have an easier time going into float if I have the bucket raised a few feet off the ground before I push the lever into float. Then I just let the bucket drop down and at least that way I know it's in float.
