Milo is the gentlest little beagle I've ever seen. when you feed him hes ever so gentle not to nip your fingers. We have two sons and none of them gave us a grand child yet so Milo is our Grand Dog :laughing:

We have a lot of land on the back of our main shop. It was a bit of a mess with trees blown down so we're cleaning them up, putting a road down there and putting up another shed for now to put this tractor in. We may put up a steel building later on to put a plasma table in. I'll try and get another video up this weekend and let everyone see how it's looking. Thanks for commenting :thumbsup:

Well I'm happy I put those extra lights on the BX. I don't know which is more stubborn, me or a double stump I had to dig out. It took 1.5 hours but I won this one
I remember years ago when I operated heavy equipment, no matter how big the machine was it seemed like it wasn't powerful enough and that's the way it felt tonight but its all relative isn't it.

I'm sure he was a great beagle. They are so kind but here in Newfoundland they are so abused. They are used for hunting rabbits and guys aren't taking good care of them like they should but I'm happy to report that new laws and public awareness has greatly reduced the abuse and some guys have ended up in court. Wish I was the judge in those cases

Well Matt I don't know about me becoming Paul Bunyan but I'm getting it done. Moved a rock last evening I never thought possible to move with a BX. Its about 1/3 the size of the tractor. Right now I can't get the 5740 down to where I'm working so the BX is doing it all.
There's pretty big stumps to dig out as well.
Glad I installed the extra lighting as well. I'm really needing it although I didn't think I'd use it at the time of installation.

Those are funny videos of Milo. Yep, Rex was loyal to my Mom to no end. He rarely howled unless he had a good reason.

My wife and I really enjoyed that photo. They are the cutest beagles I've seen in a loooong time. I really never thought that a beagle could be trained. When ours got on a scent there was no stopping her. That being said. If you called out to her 40-50 times she might come over to you :laughing:

I saw something in an online article that the AKC rates beagles as one of the dumbest dogs around. I was so disappointed to hear that since they are a working dog and not a frou-frou lapdog whose toughest assignment is doing double duty as a floor mop for prissy old women.

We looked after Milo for two weeks while our boy went on his honeymoon. During those two weeks Milo got to know me better than I know myself.
When I'd get up to go to the kitchen he would take his ball and drop it on my foot then look up at me as if to say "we going to play ball or what"? I'd go outside and play with him before I'd go to work. He had three balls outside and I'd tell him its time to go in the house and then I'd say " pick up your toys". He would get all the balls one by one and put them in the house.
That's not what I would call a stupid dog.

Also mounted a "RAMS" mount on the top of the instrument cowl to hold my cel phone, mirrors on the uprights for the FEL and the BX expanded "under armor" plate to protect fragile parts otherwise exposed. I have also mounted a switch on the left side console that operated the electric pump for my 3 point mounted spray rig as the back hoe is off for several weeks while I kill weeds. Next project is work lights and I appreciate all the ideas for them I've read on this and other threads.

I agree with your assessment of Milo and Beagles in general. Mom told me when she got Rex, her father asked why she did such a thing. But her Dad and Rex became best buds, and when the hearse drove by the house where he lived, Rex bayed; so he knew something wasn't right as his bud was gone.

Mom told me the only other time Rex howled big time was the night I was born. He was in the car howling up a storm in the hospital parking lot on a cold January night.

The picture of the switch on the left side console is my on off for the sprayer electric pump. I'm thinking about work lights and will try and find some that have the switches in the light itself. I want one facing forward and one facing aft and will mount them on the ROPS.
id not take a picture but since it is hot in Texas I have a fiberglass ridged canopy that is attached to the upper bow of the ROPS

Thank you, I have really settled in to liking the BX 25 and not wanting a larger tractor that really would be less useful for my needs. Hopefully my turf plugger will be here in the next week or two. Right now the soil is perfect for plugging, but I'm afraid by mid June it will be dry and hard.

I would think it would as I would doubt if Kubota would change the steering wheel spline very often the cost would outweigh any benefits

Well I've been spending every spare minute on the BX. I have three tandem loads of class "A" to spread and a load of topsoil so that takes time. Ive been pulling up steel fence posts and I've also been cutting down trees and all of this in my spare time lol

Nice job check 6, I like your mirrors, simple but effective, the switch looks factory. When it comes to lights 4shorts is the king, his rops light is the way to go on a bx
