Ok guys. Sorry for the delay.

We now have our own web site. This is the start of a three stage program for us. The other two stages I'll fill you in on as they approach but this had to be done first. Big things are happening here behind the scenes. All the photos that were deleted will eventually be added to the site. All photos are now copyrighted and the property of Specialty Repairs at this point and I think you might enjoy looking around the site. Be sure to check out the "About Us" page ;)

I'd like to thank the web master who is building this site. Believe me when I say "he's good" he's been a very close personal friend of mine for many years and was instrumental in the restorations at Gasoline Alley. He is the only outside person to EVER be involved in ANY of my work and we have worked closely together on many projects. His graphic designs are just mind blowing.

This guy is such a great friend I call him the brother I always wanted so to you Brian a very big thank you for your hard work.

The site has a few areas still under construction but it will be worked on daily so check back often.

Cool website! Thanks for sharing. I plan to customize a zd326 over the winter. Really like your led lighting.

Very nice Paul ! I guess it's a good thing you aren't too close, it could cost me a mint !

That is a very nice web site, everything is crisp and clean, I see a big addition in the future for repairs and possible sales of your own branded Kubota accessories. Branded with your name by the excellent work of your wife Kathy
Congratulations

I just want to add, and I should have said this before maybe I did? I was looking in your welding section on your new website it reminded me to tell you I have never seen such perfect welds anywhere. You lay down the best looking welding beads I have ever seen.

The website looks very good, and easy to navigate. I was looking for the place to order some of your grand L mods. Lol.

Fantastic job, Paul & Kathy. Looks great!

And for those that miss the pictures in this thread, it looks like they are all there (though I did have some trouble getting some of them to load).

Hey Paul:

Like the vast majority of people here I'm happy to see that you're back. I checked out your website and it looks great and it's already bookmarked. To tell you the truth I never thought of a Cat Loader as a chick magnet, but you learn something new every day. I am hoping to get a BX next spring when we move out to PEI and build our retirement home. I'm not very handy so perhaps you may be selling some of your mods commercially by then?

Keep up all of the OUTSTANDING work and all the best to you and the wifey!!!

Thanks everyone for your positive responses on our new site. It's considered a stepping stone to achieve our goal. Its a complicated process and one we couldn't do with out the help of Brian at .Minke Design - Creative Design Solutions It was the site or the making of it that really caused the photos to disappear. I didn't know until it was to late that moving photos to an organized album would change their link:confused: but it had to be done because there were over 3000 photos out of albums and when the web master would email asking for specific photos I'd have to scan through all of them to look for the one I wanted.

That being said we are now much more organized and I like it that way.
As for the site it's self. We'll be posting many more photos and all of our mods past, present and future ones will be laid out on the site. Some times you might see non tractor related repairs or mods but I'm sure you'll walk away with some ideas of your own because of it or at least that's part of our goal.

Eventually I'd like to do a few " How I do it" projects to put on the site with an even greater detailed photo pictorial of each step. There's plenty more work to do and many more mods to build so when we get at them it should be interesting. :dance1:

Thanks for your responses. There are good things on the horizon and this site will make life easier on me personally. I can keep everything confined to one area or site and not have to do multiple posts on other sites. I will still be visiting these great sites but just not posting any more individual projects. Now I'll have more time to actually check out other members work and comment on them and that's a good thing. :)

I've enjoyed reading your responses.

Papaperk. I'll look forward to seeing the mods on your zd326

Waxman I'll look forward to what you'll be doing with your new Grand L as well. Glad you enjoyed seeing some of my welds. Welding is something I've really tried to master. I've spent many many hours practicing and that's is the trick.

srs I'm glad you liked the "Babe" magnet. Seems as much as life changes it still stays the same. Back then I was working long hours and the only way to see my girlfriend (wife now) ;)at the time was to pick her up in that Cat loader.
Some times it was in the larger Cat 988. It was so funny, I'd pull into the parking lot and all the guys would be there in their new Trans Am's and trucks and here I am with this high machine with 20 lights on it ( I like lights) shining down on them. Kathy would climb up the ladder and sit on the heater because there was no buddy seat in those loaders. Oh the memories

2bad4u and the others Thank you very much for your kind words and encouragement

Hey Paul, love your site (and mods) and also love it about the Cat loader. Back when I was in high school for our prom I took my date in a Cat 730 ADT ( dad owned a excavating company) and it took up quite a few spots, and never seen so many people look!
Also what happens to be the repair on that Cat 320 excavator? We have a B series so just curious.

Paul, is it true "what happens in a Cat loader stays in a Cat loader?" Ha! Stanley

Thank you very much. Really enjoyed about the prom. Man that's sooo cool  The 320 devolved a crack in the boom. If I were to guess the operator was doing some heavy side sweeping grading with it and stressed it to the point where it cracked. No issues since the repair which is good ;)

Hey Stanley that's so true but to tell the truth there's not much room in a loader to anything only operate it

Congratulations on the new website, looks very professional.

Thank you very much. I'm sure the web master will appreciate it too

Agreed. Professional and 4shorts quality.

Thanks Paul. I promise the next stage will be exciting as well but as they say "Rome wasn't built in a day". As always thanks for your comments.
