My hst pedal does not quite return to neutral, That means that once I let off the pedal it almost stops but once it gets to where the pedal is still engaged it creeps until I blip the reverse pedal and force/ persuade it into neutral. I am looking to remove the damper and see if that is where the hang up is. I can live with it though and am used to blipping the pedal if I have been going forward and want to stop or change direction. there appears to be a very small window for neutral in the 3350. I mentioned in a previous thread that I have lubed the dickens out of everything to no avail.....

It doesn't stop abrupt when foot is taken off the pedal it keeps coasting That is the BX25D. I WANT it to stop and NOT KEEP COASTING WHEN I TAKE MY FOOT OFF THE PEDAL like an HST is supposed to do.
I also mentioned the abrupt stop in the BXxx50 series of days gone by, different machine (NOT THE BX25D that is the topic here) but was just an example of some Kubota engineering mistakes.
I've owned several HST Kubotas and this one, the BX25D, is WRONG, flawed, not right because it
doesn't stop when the foot pedal is released, it keeps coasting right into the truck that I'm trying to load
a two bottom plow into the bed. It stops when the brake pedal is pushed which has been moved to the
left side from the right side where it has been for the 12 years that I've owned HST
I saw No flip flopping in my post. I did NOT LIKE the ABRUPT STOP in the BXxx50 series in reverse that no other HST Kubota did (One I owned several years ago a BX2350 not the BX25D I own now). It would snap ones back/neck and COULD NOT be feathered out with the pedal like all other Kubota HSTs could be done, feathered out to a gradual stop.
I DON'T LIKE THE COASTING (TALKING ABOUT CURRENT BX25D NOW AND NOT THE 50 series of bygone
days) in forward when the pedal is released on the BX25D that I now own because no other HST
Kubota that I've ever owned has done it.

Does your BX2370 keep going when you release the pedal on a level surface or slight decline or stop

Could you post some pictures of your pedal arrangement and how you did this? Moving the brake pedals to the left side makes a lot of sense to me!

Haven't had in shop but one time. I went down and tried it after their first adjustment and wasn't satisfied and showed them that it was still doing it and left the tractor. Returned a few days later and tried it again and better but still doing it so I said I'd take it since they had nothing else to offer and master mechanic said he adjusted it to the maximum and had no further adjustment or anything else he could do to make it any different. I will continue to ask Steve Barlow if Kubota has ever sent a fix but I'm sure he'll contact me if they do. Doubt Kubota will fix it or send fix for already sold units as long as no one or very few of us complain or refuse to buy them when they roll on like this. I'm signing papers for my my new zero ZD326rp this coming week and I will ask again if a repair solution has been sent.

Thanks, I guess it if was that simple then your right, they would just change. Im still wondering if its a "return to center/spring" or if it might actually be a hydrostatic pump and hydraulics issue. Might be something that adjustments cant fix just like you the 50 series. Thanks and keep us posted on what Mr. Barlow says.

I don't think it's a return to center spring since it returns to center and just keeps coasting. I'll post if I hear of any fixes. I believe Kubota will fix it in the newer production models if potential customers will order one that doesn't coast.

Does that mean that k0ua needs to buy one, too? :D
Tractor
Kioti DK35se Hydrostat

I would not mind having one..I have seen the time working in the front yard, the DK is a bit big. Usually something the wife wants done, involving flowers or mulch..:)

I went and looked at the b2301's today at the dealer and compared them next to the bx25d and I found it odd the pedal on the larger b is stiffer to push and quicker to rebound. Not sure if or what that could mean just an observation. After messing with the b for 5 minutes I sat on the bx again and the HST pedal felt very smushy and soft.

But did one stop and the other didn't when you released the foot pedal? Did both stop? Did they stop differently or the same? Did you talk to the dealer about your concerns or did you have any concerns?

sorry john they were closed and I was just sitting on and looking at them to compare size and ergonomics mostly on the lot. I will be going back to drive both this week I hope. that observation I stated may not mean diddlysquat but it was just something I noticed...
