I am learning lessons in warpage AND how to fix said as well.
The "tabs" where the pins hold the anchors to the FEL frame sucked
in a tad, like .043 PER SIDE! It was my fault for not knowing better
and giving the welder a stand-off (for lack of a proper term) to
put between the tabs during welding. I learned to just wedge a stand-off
into the problem area and gently heat both sides and let cool from the outside
so it would splay out. After it cooled the stand-off fell out, NICE! The fit
is better than I expected. I am SO HAPPY w/ the results.

If I made those holes to a different dim it would be a nice "beverage" holder...

AHHH!!! so thats where it goes!!!! interesting choice! I wouldnt have thought of that, but then I always remove/install FEL all the time

The FEL will still be removable. Remove add some spacers and go racin'! :steeringwheel:
There just 1" x long shoulder bolts in lieu of the quick removal OE pins.

Hey Artisan, you are not to far off from PLEXIGLAS all around and a small A/C.

Go for it.

J_J if a guy wanted my system he certainly COULD pull off your dream , easily.

Easy to add some tabs and hang sides w/ this going on around ya.

Me, nope...A/C on a BX25 is for Jabronis.

Hey! I resemble that comment!

Nice job Artisan, I am looking forward to seeing the completed project. Gee I wish I could weld half as well as Mr. Sexton.

J_J's dream :D reminded me of these nifty little clamps from
Ballistic Fabrication. I am sure I will be needin' a pair or two.
How cool are these babies? I think they are like 13 bux a pair...

The rear anchor is anchored w/ 2 UBolts, I think I will add 2 more
but the hard part is now done...WHEW! That was tough...but it came
out Perfecto! My angles are PERFECT. (Even got J_J's Lexan / AC brackerty gall goin' on! :D)

PS, if you own a BX25 and your interested in more electrical power CLICK HERE.

There are a bazillion options on how to fab a cage. Looks like I
am going w/ a Halo Bar or Halo Hoop up top w/ conventional "A"
pillars. The Halobar is cut and temp'd in place and today I bent up
some A pillars. Looking at the angle of the dangle I think I might
be pleased w/ my 1st shot at it. If you look at the top you will
see I have not morticed in / "notched" my A-Pillars yet so when
I do, that angle will "steepen" a bit more, thus look "cooler"*. It is starting
to get fun now....seeing some fruit is always nice. (Yes that is
a 2" x 2" piece of wood holding up the halo bar.)

* I am not shooting for "Cooler" as a priority, function over form but
it sure is nice when form is pleasing to the eye. Well, I guess beauty
is in the eye of the beholder and certainly I am biased but hey...usually
when I am pleased, so are others.

Wow, nice work!
Can't wait to see it finished.

A cab / cage would be nice where you could remove the sides in the summer time. Do you have some idea what you would like it to look like (another tractor with one perhaps)?

Ummm...no, there is nothing I am trying to emulate or copy...
I wish to please myself only. "Usually" when I am happy so
are others.

the only thing I would change is start the bend for the front "a" bars no higher than the top of the loader uprights. You would have less of a bend in the tubes and increase the strenght of the tubes. the way it is now there is not gong to be much vertical support at the front. any weight in the front will push it down and bend the bars MORE at the current bend.

...and I considered it but it intrudes on egress and degress. Plus it gets that bend
up at the right height for a cross bar. I plan on a cross bar, horizontal or what one might call
a dashboard or windshield bar plus I'm considering strongbacking the inner
radii of the A Pillar bends. I think I luded to this prior. I have dimple dies.
make it w/ maybe 3/16" plate and a 3/8" rod on the edge or perhaps 1" tube.
