BX24 backhoe removal race

Thats pretty quick...I can't get mine off that fast...the left pin always sticks and needs a little tap to get it out....going in the same way.

That seems like the easy part. How long does it take you to attach it? I'm lucky if I can get that done in under ten minutes.

They have a video of that also. should be on the same youtube page. Pretty neat. Thanks for posting it as I have not removed mine just yet.

The big question is how fast can they attach the 3point hitch lol....thats the real time consumer...

Very swift --- I would also like to see video of attaching the 3 point hitch. I have some work to do with a box blade that I keep postponing because I just can't remember how to do it! :)

We will do more then. The guys who did this are on vacation for the next week.

Impressive...takes me that long to undo hydraulics...:D

/ BX24 backhoe removal race #9
Very impressive, it takes me that long to find the right page in the manual. Being the newbie I am, I think I would have a problem attaching the hydraulic lines back on since the pressure wasn't relieved first.

Foul!
Ya didn't put the little protective caps on the ends of the hydraulic lines:rolleyes::D

Yeah, I know that on my 403 FEL, if I am wearing gloves, I think connecting the little caps takes longer than the rest of the job. Either that or trying to pull the kotter pins on the loader arms to drop or raise them!

:D

Nice Job! I do like the way the hoses attach to the backhoe, no fiiddling around under seat for hoses. Do you use a jumper hose or just to connect the lines when backhoe is unattached? plowking

Neil,
What great timing. I just picked up a Box blade and landscape rake. The whole ride back I was thinking about the removal of the backhoe. It's great to see it done.
I'll let you guys know how I did.

I just searched You Tube. They have the BH removal an install. Also have the loader removal.
I look forward to seeing the 3 pt hitch.

Watch the video again, it's the last thing he connects before he gets on and drives away...

Nice job Neil:D:D:D

Nice and timely post. Should prove to be VERY helpful to the newbies :D
I usually take alittle longer than that on my BX23 because I mount/dismount my BH onto/from a dollie, I also put my caps back on and then wipe down the little bit of fluid that seeps out during connection/disconnection.
Probably takes me about 3 minutes or so and on my BX23 I don't have to worry about pulling/reinstalling pins :D

Outstanding! This is great stuff for us new BX24 owners. I learned a lot.

I timed myself when I first got my tractor.
The tractor was in the shop with the backhoe on it and 8 minutes later it was sitting in the drive with the back blade on it ready to go.
