BX2200 steering problem

Have a BX2200 that steering keeps going out on. dealer suggested putting "Shepherds" into the hydo system. Now it is really out. What to do?

Are you talking the steering unit itself? I just looked at the parts manual and it doesn't show any parts for it to repair one. If you have to replace like into the charr-lynn steering unit.

Perhaps you could describe in a bit more detail, just what is happening. Does the steering wheel behave as normal and the tractor simply won't steer, or is the wheel hard to turn like the pump is not supplying oil flow?

Does it wander or just steer one direction? If so you may need to rebuild cylinder, known problem with bad cylinder seals.
