BX22 Top Link

A couple of weeks ago I read a post concerning an off brand Top Link for the BX22 that could be purchased from a JD parts department. I bent /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif mine pretty good and don't want to have to pay $60+ dollars for one if I don't have too. Does anybody remember the post or the JD part number for the Top Link? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The post was by AV8R**** "Short top link found" I believe.
It was not a JD part it was a part from india. My Kubota dealer carries them so you might want to check with yours. Hope this helps Heres the link

I recently saw a small top link at TSC. I looked it up in their catalog.
It's listed as having 3/4" NC threads.
9 1/2" body length. Adjusts 13" to 18" and has 5/8" ball sockets.

Would that fit?

I just ordered one last week from the local Tisco Dealer....The part # is JSA 1009.

A bit over $17.00 with tax included. It's a Category I 9 inches long and expands to 20". So Tisco says.

I've been running it on my BX with Box Blade for snow removal since I posted the notice. It works great. It is a <font color="orange"> MUCH </font> better unit than the OEM link. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Just for information I picked up the top link today: to me it is much heavier than the original Kubota top link.

Yep Tom I drove her through with a large ball peen hammer. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Use wood on the rod so You won't burr it up.

Make sure to paint the body Kubota orange before you put the rod through!!

BTW, I thought the "lock" cam was going to be a waste, but I found that it does work very well. Set the lock plate, then screw the body into it, using the center arm for leverage.

I had to wire brush off the paper label, so the paint is sticking to that surface pretty well. I would have went with gray, but I only had the orange. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
