BX22 dash plate

I posted this in the wrong forum before, perhaps someone can shed some insight. I noticed that the dash plate is held on by 2 sided tape and I was wondering if there is a certain kind of 2 sided tape I can use to re-fasten it with or can I just go with a heavy duty superbond tape without need or worry in re-accessing the bulbs through removal of the dash plate. How are the bulbs accessed anyway?

Im not sure how you change the bulbs on your BX22 ,but if you are worried about the tape they use to hold the face plate on they make a fine mesh velcro that has tape on the backside . That way all you need to do is just pull the velcro apart. You should be able to find the Velcro at any craft or home center store.

I had to fix mine, I used glue gun.

You can buy a dubble sided tape at any hardware or walmart in the cloth section, I was looking for the screws to take the dash plate off and check out the HST light when i tryed a little force at the bottom with a small screw driver and noticed the tape, i just replaced the tape and no trouble, still don't know why they have a light for the HST, if it would work when it gets hot or something like that it would be great but to stay on and let you know that it's on is not well though of plan, .paul /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
