I am in the market for a medium duty rotory tiller for my BX2200. Have sandy soil with no rocks. Cost is more an issue because I won't use it often, but I do need it a few times per year. I was interested in the Northern Equipment 50" tiller because of price. Has anyone had any experience with this tiller?

The best price on a tiller that I found was $1300 for a Howard Rotavator HR-3...and is 50" also. I'm very happy with the unit.

I have a 1 year old Land Pride 1058 rototiller that came with my BX2200 (used, 180 hours) when I bought it. I got a good deal on the package (54"mmm, FEL), and have no use for the tiller. I am going to sell it and would like to get $1,000 for it (it lists new for around $1,900). I have tried it, and the BX has plenty of power to run it in my sandy soil with some rocks. I am located in MN. Reply to this if you might be interested, and I will give you my e-mail.
