BX floor mat replacement

Decided to give my BX a little spruce up after 330hrs of abuse. Try to treat her special so she stays around.

Replaced the original floor mat with the latest version. Much thicker is the new one. Here is before and after pics. Did also buy new push pins for securing it as the old ones were pretty much destroyed on removal of the old mat. Cleaned up underneath... surprised how much debris was trapped. Pic was after blowing off with air and before pressure wash. See p/n if you are interested.

Liking the mat but one thing it didn't solve even though it is thicker... is the possibility of slipping on the corners when climbing on/off. I have slipped a couple times stepping aboard in the past. So... today I put some anti-slip take on the side. Big improvement!

Looks nice, .. I had my floor boards and step Linexed when I got it. Been on there almost 6 years and has worked out well.

Yep, you are absolutely right and apologies for not specifically mentioning... went back and read my post and realized no credit was given. :ashamed: This was definitely where I got the inspiration. Thanks Paul!!!

DAT pretty positive its the same mat. Even on the Kubota parts list site, doesn't list just BX25 they have the BX25DLB and DLB-1 listed.
The 25D had different rops, instrument cluster and backhoe I believe.

DAT, Paul is right, your brake is on the right instead of the left on the D model. Not saying it wouldnt work with a little modification and a left hole, your gamble. A year ago I looked and they where $125 but now $68 at messicks.....

Thank you. To make that mat fit on yours it would be cut up by the time you laid it on the machine. I had a deal made with my Kubota parts guy to try this mod way back. I have one of the very early BX25D and none of us knew for sure it would even work. Turns out it was an exact replacement so I was lucky.

Really like the new mat. Much thicker and tougher. Old one is so flimsy in comparison.
