bx 2350 trans jerky

has anyone noticed the operation of the transmission on the 2350 to be very abrupt. i just got our first one out of the box (yes australia is a long way behind you with models) and noticed when you lift your foot of the reverse it stops very quickly, to the point of being annoying. just thought i would see if this is normal before i investigated an issue which may not be a real issue at all.

Try a search here as there are many issues with the new transmission operation. My dealer has a letter from Kubota stating that it is operating as designed.

Yup, all the new BXs are like this. It's only in reverse. Apparently too some new JDs. Probably by design due to some lawsuit or something similar.

A bit of use gets you used to feathering the pedal which helps some, but it doesn't make that head snapping stop go away. I know Kubota has had complaints, it'll be interesting to see if an official fix comes out. In the meantime, TractorByNet may have to figger out a way to soften it up a bit.

thanks guys. kubota OZ has been very quiet on this so far, i have not had chance to hassle them about it (busy season on the bottom end of the world). ususally when they are quiet it means that its a case of thats the way they are. when i get a chance i will look at the thing a bit and see if i can sort out a solution. will post if i do. after a few minutes drivin you can drive around the issue, but if you forget then it back to the old jerk stop.
