buying ratty scout 800

i am buying a scout 800 i found near my cottage. it has been sitting
for 10+ years - all glass gone. no roof, no bumpers, no tailgate. all
bondo knocked out of bodywork etc. you get the picture-pathetic.
but i always wanted a scout since i was a kid. maybe i'm nuts,
