bush hoging 2710 hst

I bush hoged about 20 acres yesterday, my as* hurts! Anybody else run into this problem? While brushoging my tractor seemed to bog down a lot. I had the tractor gunned in M, and L gear. When I went over these big grass bogs( I don't know what the name of them are, but I call them cousin its! , they grow by the water) my tractors' tach went down, and sometimes the tractor almost stalled. After reading how the big 2710 kicked as* most of the time, well I was a little disapionted! auh.....dam......shi******.

What size mower? I've had no problems with a 2910, and I don't think the HP difference is significant. I only have a 4' mower though.
