Seattle annual rainfall the last ten years might surprise you... 29in. The US average is 38 and most peoples' perception is that it rains a lot here. Actually it rains a lot of days but not much usually. Where we specifically are in Seabeck which is only 20mi away as a crow flies, we're averaging 65in! Both near sea level. Lots of micro climates around here because the close proximity of mountains, and both salt and fresh bodies of water.
