We do make single and double bottom plows but haven't worked out many details on the kits yet. The kits would be the ETA attachments that are made here at our facility.

GREAT IDEA !!!
I am sure I will be a customer, can't wait to see the products come out! Congratulations.
If you are still thinking about the test case idea,
I volunteer to test the first kit. You can search my name for stuff I have built and documented here. I am good about photos and detailed explanations as you can see from my threads. I have a JD 3720, so obviously cat 1 3-point stuff is compatible. for references I suggest you look at:

Haven't heard back on the TBN poll, so lets try the Doodle Poll.

Make sure you put your TBN username into the "Your Name" field or it WILL NOT BE COUNTED

Let the voting begin: Doodle: Everything Attachments "assemble your own attachment" contest

Anyone have a problem with keeping the end date as the 14th as was planned? Should I move it out being as the poll start was delayed?

Thanks

Perhaps- from the EA point of view- it would be better for Ted to find some local customer that fit his parameters of skills. That way he could monitor the assembly, and make note of both any difficulties the assembler was having, and see, in -real time- what he considers "mistakes" (i.e. bad welds) or design issues that might be improved.
Monitoring the process isnt the point... The point is giving away a couple of hundreds of bucks worth of premade parts, and getting a huge word of mouth going on at TBN in return.... The cheapest advertisement a manufacturer could wish for... Do you really think they need this input for a simple box blade, after making the thousands of them ? they have their apprentices in the welding shop too ;)

I just voted for myself...does that make me a politician?

Me too! I wanted to get 1 vote, and my Mom isn't on TBN

You got two for sure then;)

PS: you can vote for more than one as well:thumbsup:

EverythingAttachments said,

I would also include an assembly video along with all of the nuts/bolts and other hardware needed to build your attachments. You would also be able to paint(not included) your attachment whatever color you choose.

Does anybody remember Ted asking for volunteers to build the kits? Don't think so.

I believe all he asked was how much interest would there be in a build it yourself kit.

Some of you are recommending some of you for the potential builder. He doesn't need anyone to build the kits as he probably has a full work force.

I am thinking he might cut out the kit and offer it for a price and see if there are any takers.

Everyone is hoping for a large discount on the kits, but you will not know until it is cut out ready for shipment.

Post number 100 of this thread

http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...tachments-kits-interested-10.html#post3072195

I believe he did ask for someone to build a "free trial kit" with the expectation of good detailed feedback here on TBN.

There are also a few other threads about this, in which 17 members were nominated, and can be voted on until the 14th of this month.

So yea, EA is giving a volunteer a kit to build and be showcased here on TBN:thumbsup:

Actually, he asked us to choose someone to build one and he will ship that to them for free to assemble and report back. Voting ends at midnight Eastern on the 14th.

You are right and I could not remember reading that.

From the list, you know the selected person will do an excellent job, but what does that say for the average guy wanting to build from a kit.

If these kits become available, they will probably sell most of them to the average person with average welding skills.
