Does any one here have any experience with clamp-on or hang-on bucket forks? I need to do some pallet moving with my TC33DA and don't want to fork (no pun intended) out the cash to purchase the quick attach conversion and everything else necessary for the skid steer attachment. I'll need to be lifting and moving up to 650 pounds. I know the forks themselves will hold up. I'm mainly concerned with the strain on the loader bucket.

Hi aggc;

I bought the Sundown clamp on forks for my little Yanmar YM16. They worked fine. I lifted some pretty large oak logs with no damage to the bucket. I now have a L3130 with skid steer Q/A bucket and pallet forks. That is a much better way to go for the long term. The pallet forks keep the load closer to the pivot points on the loader so you can pick up more weight. My tractor can lift a load up pretty high. It is much safer to have the full pallet forks to keep the load from rolling over the bucket. Just my 2 cents worth.

There's a ton of threads on this here.

A search will get you plenty of info. :) :)
