I would like to thank every one who posted!
I purchased a Stihl FS250.
I bought it with string and nylon blade head for $400.
I immediately noticed that what had taken me several passes with my smaller Echo took one shot from the "Weed trimmer from H_ _ _!" This is no slight against Echo.
The Stihl may weigh 14 lbs., but nothing I have seen so far intimidates this cannon.
Most of my jobs are very tough but short in duration. 1 hour at most. At 45 years old, I think this is the right machine for me and for my orchard.
