Brush guard for tractor

I recently bought a tractor to clean up some property that has been basically abandoned for 25 years. To make a long story short I have been using it like a tank when bush hogging. The front of my tractor has been catching a devil of a time resulting in a damaged front grill. I need to weld/attach some kind of steel brush guard to protect the front end as well as to serve as an instrument to continue in brush/tree clearing of the property. Any suggestions?

Put a loader on it. I just run the loader fairly close to the ground and it saves the tractor. When mowing grass in downeast Maine (where they grow rocks) I use the bucket to find rocks in the deep grass.

I run mine with a FEL and still managed to bend the heck out of it pushing brush.

I am gonna get some expanded metal for my factory grill guard. What size does most of you use? I was thinking 1/2"-13 maybe?

This was done by a local welding shop. Its the standard Kubota brush guard with expanded metal added.
