2006 BX2350
The top tabs on the panel screen on my '06 BX2350 are broken so the screen doesn't align or stay in place properly. The first screen did the same so it was replaced under warranty.
Do the new BX's have the same plastic tabs or are they made better. I'm not going to bother replacing the screen if it's just going to break again.
Thanks.

mine broke on the left side, I haven't replaced them ( I have the bx2350 too)
but I saw on the new machine that they have metal guides on the outside of the screen. I had my dealer order them ($8) and I bolted them on. They help hold the screen in place and I figured it was cheaper than a new screen.

A friend of mine has a newer BX24 that had the same metal brackets you speak of. Mine did not. I did the same thing vanb did and ordered them!!

Here are two pictures of the metal brackets Deano is speaking of.

huh! I dont have those metal tabs and mine havent been broken yet. I need to double check that on mine to make sure I have those tabs. I suspect it will hold screen in better. Do you guys have part number for that ?

On my BX the deck cracked (warranty) and where the orange cowling is held down by the thumbscrews cracked and the tabs broke off. This was on a BX2350. I can see where it could happen as it takes 3 hands and the help of a circus monkey to get everything lined up and tightened down.

I have a trained monkey on retainer from when I had to remove FEL from our CX80 and MF375, so I have fully intact tabs on our BX2200 and 2660.

The problem i am having is the gasket on the bottom of the screen is split or torn off on 2 of my 3 BXs.
Anyone know if there is replacement gaskets available for these screens?

My panel screen doesn't have the same plastic ledges onto which the metal support bars bolt so I had to buy the whole kit with the screen, frame and bars. In ON it was $243 CDN + 13% tax so I ordered from a dealer in NY and paid $147. USD +8.75% tax. I'm close enough to the border so it isn't a problem to get it. I was over and back in less than an hour. I declared it at the border but didn't have to pay the taxes.

Funny, all these new BX and the old BX22 had the least issues.

Thank you so much for posting that photo. I'm going to try to order those as well.

My dealer had some "take-off" panel guide brackets in stock so they were only $4 per side.
I put them on and now I can install the panel with one hand. If these were on in the first place, the tab may not have broken.

Necro thread alert!
greetings gents,

I have a 2007 BX2350 with a badly mangled "lower panel frame". This frame has fingers, like part 20 in below diagram
I believe this is part number K2581-57135

When I asked my dealer to replace this, he gave me part number K2581-57136
This has no tabs, part 20 in below photo

I questioned my dealer on this, who called Kubota tech directly and Kubota told him that is the correct panel for my BX2350 even though the new one lacks tabs. how the heck is this going to fit on and stay in place without tabs?!

Disclaimer, my machine is in 7000 pieces so maybe when i put it all back together it will magically work? but looking at this lower panel and the metal subframe around the battery, i dont see how its going to fit... anyone been through this swap before?
I also do not have the metal horizontal bars but i see them in the later part diagram.

I just replaced this screen on my bx2350. I noticed the same issue. It stays in place about as well as the original -- which is to say "not well."
It also came with a couple of metal parts that were not in the original. Not sure what they are for. Maybe they have some magical properties that would help keep the screen in place?

were the pieces these metal horizontal pieces seen below? I have ordered them, one for top and bottom of the panel. They dont appear to protrude to the frame around the battery so im not sure what they do either. Im pretty skeptical...
I will report back when its all back together

Yes. Those are the parts in question.
