Its always been very difficult to get into 4wd i just attributed that to new gears and tightness
They should have cought that when they were working on it...Well nutz............that didnt last long, I went to back the deere/mower out of the shop today to move it out of the way and heard a klunk so stopped - here was a brass bushing and spacer sitting on the concrete floor i noticed the deck was ALL the way down hmmmmm - so l look under the tractor and the lift motor/gear assembly was busted I looked at the outside of the case of the lift motor and it appears it might have been whacked by the drive shaft when it came apart - i would guess it was fractured/cracked it looks like cast aluminum casing around the lift unit so back to the shop it will go - bummer
it's great that JD covers operator abuse..i have nothing but great things to say regarding my dealer - from the sales rep, svc mgr, svc admin who takes my calls, parts guys and the mechanics there - they have all been good to deal with as far as i am concerned, they did their jobs and were fair on my 2210 before I got this 2038R.

not sure what you are talking about? - there is no abuse in this string have you read the entire thing? i take it you must be referring to yourself and how you have had issues?

There does seem to be a few Trolls on this site that have nothing good to say about anyone or any thing. A few just like to argue. Still the best Tractor Forum out there.

There's one that wants to know your location too

I can understand that sometimes knowing a posters location could be helpful in diagnostics. Say, I grenade my turbo and by someone knowing I'm in Alaska they could deduce that the oil might have been to thick due to the cold and starved the turbo for oil. It is the mean-spirited dillweeds that irritate my sensibilities. I just try to ignore their pettiness.
If I was tractor shopping in the OP's area that dealer would be the first place that I stopped.
