Broke caliper bleeder

I think the best way is to replace the caliper? It is 86 CJ7, calipers are original, rebuilt once in 99, I think new ones are in order anyway.

Better idea anybody?

I've had broken bleeder valves and was able to get them out with an ez-out. There is already a hole in the broken one to use with the ez-out.

Another option that sometimes works is to drive an allen wrench into the hole in the bleeder and use this to turn them out. Allen wrench isn't as hard and brittle as an EZ out. Use lots of penetrating oil and let it soak for awhile.

At that age new calipers may be a better choice.

Left handed drill bits work fairly well.
Nor-the-rn T**l has an assortment. I'm sure others do also.

They also make repair kits for the bleeders, and oversizes, but as cheap as the rebuilt calipers are, a new pair would go on mine.

LH drill bits work real well, the heat of drilling seems to help get the broken item moving...

I've tried every penetrating oil and I have found Yield from chemsearch to be the best. We call it goat piss in the shop. It works!

That allen wrench sounded like a great idea, but this was apparently beyond fix. Will turn it in as core with part of the allen wrench

the left over wrench will cost you . once you make it harder for the rebuilder they charge
