Broke caliper bleeder

Picked my parts from autozone, checked them briefly and later realized the caliper is for passenger side - i.e. the bleeder is lower than brake line input.

To make he jeep driveable I stuck a piece of wood in the caliper, twisted the caliper to put the bleeder above the brake line and pushed the air out following the normal procedure. Than I mounted the caliper and pads and drove to town to finally get the driver side caliper. When it comes, I will swap the old one on the right side for the one currently on the left and install a new one on driver's side. It is a PITA, but I will do anything to keep the jeep running.

the left over wrench will cost you . once you make it harder for the rebuilder they charge :(

Maybe but most of the time when I return a core they don't look at them very well, sometimes they don't even look in the box!

Too late for your situation but this worked for me about a month ago when I had the same problem. I tried easyout and That didnt work. I took a washer with the inner diameter about the same size as the bleeder or a bit smaller. I welded the washer to the bleeder with my MIG. I then welded a nut to the washer. All the heat from welding helped break it free. It turned out of there no sweat after that!:D This was the first time I tried this trick, been wanting to try it for a while. Ok, well nobody wants to do things like this unless they have to but you know what I mean.
